Vascular Intervention is a minimally invasive, targeted treatment performed by Dr Donald Roberson – a senior Vascular Radiologist. Using X-rays and other imaging to advance a catheter in the body, usually in an artery or vein, Vascular Intervention can treat the source of a disease non-surgically.
Today many conditions that once required surgery can be treated non-surgically by a Vascular Radiologist. Vascular Intervention treatments usually offer less risk, less pain and less recovery time compared to open surgery.
